Welcome graphic

Welcome to the official Wilden Village Youth Football Club website. We play matches in the Stouport and District Youth League Under-16's division, and play matches on Sunday Afternoons from September to April. We hold training sessions on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, and complete our home fixtures at Wilden Village Social Club.

We hope that this site is enjoyable to view, and is updated regularly. We always welcome new players, and if you are interested in contacting the club, please do not hesitate to drop me an e-mail at soupmonsterkhfc@hotmail.com.

Club history

Wilden Village Youth Football Club U-16's was formed on June 6th, 2004. It contained players,  management and funding from the now defunct Kidderminster Athletic U-15 team. A new comittee, comprising management and parents has been formed, and aims to provide the best possible structure for footballing success at the club. Wilden currently have a squad of 13 players, and are sitting in 11th position in the table. We are on the look out for new players, and anybody who is interested is welcome to attend a training session at any time.

Peplow Ruled Out For Season In Rugby Accident (07.03.05)
Wilden left-back Mike Peplow was today ruled out for the season after sustaining an horrific facial injury that required 13 stitches and had to have 2 teeth replaced in his mouth. The 6ft defender had been in outstanding form, winning two man of the match awards in previous weeks. He will be out until at least May, with his comeback date set for June. However, it could be up until October before the 'Raging Bull' sees action.
Hole-y Intervention as Colts Secure Violent Victory (27.02.05)
Wilden's trip to Earl's Park in Halesowen was cruelly aqffected by poor refereeing decisions and violent tactics from the opposition as the West Midlands Conurbation Team won the day in this County Cup Encounter by four goals to one. Phil Campbell scored the Wilden goal from the penalty spot midway through the first half.
